Listening to Hemispheres now. Scratching my head how Cygnus X made it. It's a great track yes, but it's NO YYZ ha
Actually had to go to the office today, so while working I listened to Signals and Moving Pictures. MAN I love Signals. It's totally normally to be a fully grown adult getting misty eyed at work listening to Subdivisions as loud as possible, right? Yeah totally.
Quoted from Gryszzz:Really happy for ya bud! Stoked that that worked out!
Thanks Gryszzz!!! Hope is real my friend

I think it's used for the wizard mode, so nobody will ever hear it anyway.

Funny stuff, I am pulling out of storage my big 1200w infinity amps and subs that i had in high school just to blast subdivisions. Takes two batteries! Cant wait!!! Is the only system that had rock solid, un-distorted bass notes.
Quoted from Gryszzz:A guy can dream can't he?
At that price, my shitty Zildjian ZBT's sound freakin great![quoted image]
My “gigging” kit. Just grab each cymbal one at a time. Before you know it you will have them all and each one has the perfect tone and response you were looking for.

The day after the concert this happened:

yep the midwest has a storm rolling through today
I've posted before that Im not a SUPER fan like some of you diehards, but I'm not a casual listener either. Always loved Rush but there are some albums that I haven't had much time with. Caress of Steel is one of those. I knew Bastille Day and Lakeside Park, but not the others.
I Think I'm Going Bald is new my favorite track WOW!
Quoted from Gryszzz:THIS THREAD NEEDS MORE MADONNA
Perhaps an air dryer connection?
Six degrees of separation.

The epic long songs will take a little longer to click with you, but they are damn good too. But yeah, Bastille Day, Lakeside Park, Going Bald, instant fall in love songs for sure

Nope. Love those too.
Perfect fucking album.
I fuckin love how any other band woulda made like, an album out of their one song.(s)
Their passion has always been stunning.

That’s a great track! Never gets mentioned so I’m glad you did, very catchy right?
Quoted from Av8:My LE ships to FL tomorrow. How many days will it take? 6?
Any le unboxing videos?
I haven’t seen any but I have my camera ready to go the second mine shows up! I haven’t even seen any Pro unboxing?
Quoted from Gryszzz:I Think I'm Going Bald is now my favorite track.
I've never even heard the song, but I don't like it.
The song's title strikes too close to home lately.

KSHE95 likes to play that one here in STL when doing a "deep dive" block. I always feel personally attacked when it starts

Have you got yours or still waitin?
Quoted from Hayfarmer:Have you got yours or still waitin?
should be early next week.......we have itchy flipper fingers
to talk a bit more of Madonna and hard rock (...), here's an old mashup i've made, its not Rush but Survivor
enjoy
Rush premium/LE manual is up on the Stern site, for those who like to keep a soft copy on the phone.
Ok guys, last OT post, promise (not really :w
ink: )
Regarding classic albums and tracks I've never heard... .thought that I've heard every Bob Seger track ever, also not sure why I've never owned a copy of Night Moves until now
How freakin great of a track is Sunburst?!
Not many Bob Seger tracks clocking in at over 5 minutes
Great song.
Quoted from cdnpinbacon:Good choice! Great tune ..necromancer must of blown your brain apart!
The last third of Necromancer is SO GOOD.
GREAT TRACK!
Quoted from Gryszzz:What really blows my mind is that album was released in 1975.
Yeah when they were 22 years old! Crazy! Now to think about what I accomplished at that age. Not much.
I've been listening to Caress of Steel over and over so didn't get to Signals until tonight.
I've learned not to "rush" to judgement, but easily my least favorite Rush album thus far. Too much keyboards and Alex going crazy on the reggae riffs...no thanks.
Back to CoS
Giving it another go but nah...
Disappointed cause Subdivisions are my favorite Rush lyrics and Signals was the 1st Rush album I ever remember actually holding and listening to, around 10 yrs old.
On to Pungent Stench.
