Hahahaha great quote. Brother against Brother sort of stuff here. Lol

Quoted from Capn12:Hmm, I did notice the videos mention "sixteen" songs, when the teaser definitely had 17 on the screen. Maybe one is hidden for a mode.
The "sixteen" is because they show Cygnus X-1 as one song, not two. From Stern Rush page: "Songs include Headlong Fight, Far Cry, One Little Victory, Working Man, 2112, Tom Sawyer, The Spirit of Radio, Freewill, Cygnus X-1 (Book One: The Voyage and Book Two: Hemispheres), The Big Money, Subdivisions, Limelight, Fly By Night, La Villa Strangiato, Bastille Day, and Red Barchetta."
Quoted from delt31:Haha - it’s the most I’ve ever thought about the band rush in my life, which was previously never so good job stern. After seeing what they did to zeppelin fans, you have to be happy if you’re a rush fan.
Custom call-outs by the members is also cool. Seems like they cared about this game which always helps the overall feel of the experience.
Ed from BNLs being involved was key I think - He is a huge pin head.
Quoted from Pinplayer1967:< The pro model looks good to me. Best backglass, I’ll add a shaker and subwoofer and play away.
I agree - I'm going pro. Artwork alone is worth it, I love it!
Quoted from RipleYYY:i would invert your pourcentage...
the left side is more AS/KISS (than XMEN, due to the scoop), but than all the rest is X-MEN, including that upper right flipper, and some lock balls behind 2 moving metal plots
but of course we all have diff feeling
Six of one, half dozen of the other.
I look at AeroKiss and I see the same pop location with an orbit through them, a center ramp, a right ramp just inside the right orbit, and then standups under the right orbit. Rush has the exact same 5 shots I just mentioned and then has Kiss scoop location to boot, so it's 6 of the same shots on Kiss, 5 from AS. Replace the Starchild area with the 3rd flipper shots that look XM-ish to me and you have this entire pin outside of the Beatles drop targets which also has a target behind them on Rush.

Layout is like
a return of the LOTR ring shot, but with a moving ramp!
the side-eject scoop!
Radical-style ramp diverter!
A drop bank with an Xmen-style captive ball physical lock behind it!!!
Geddy Lee and Ed Robertson on callouts????!!!!
And Alex.
Quoted from beelzeboob:Alex Lifeson. Ed isn't doing any callouts, is he?
Ed was directing them as he is a very good pinball player, knows what's needed ( funny, campy, taunting, etc. ) He has a good collection and this process put a huge smile on my face! Well done Stern!
This looks like a great game. I really enjoy Borg layouts (Met, and TWD) are both really fun with great flow and tough shots. It also appears that Stern did a great job with theme integration, which in my opinion typically lacks on many of their machines. Getting the band members to do call outs is awesome.
Impressed with what I see so far. Having the band be that involved is a huge bonus. Thanks to Ed for making that happen.
Leaning towards the Premium art package -although the album covers on the cab on the LE are a nice touch.
Thoughts on pro vs premium?
Really digging the pro art and would add the expression lights but premium seems to have a bit more on first look. Art sucks though
Quoted from La4s:Looks like it is a mystery award.[quoted image]
Has to have a sound clip or what’s the point
Quoted from CreepyTom:When is the gameplay reveal?
Shockingly long from now.

I'm not even sure which year this will be since Sep 17, 2022 is a Saturday.
Quoted from TinyBlackDog:This makes me feel even worse for the Led Zeppelin fans - that layout was so phoned in compared to this one.
You ever play X-Men? This looks more like a retheme. But I like the X-Men layout, so I'm not saying that's a bad thing. But if either layout was mailed in, it's this one: LZ is more original if not better. Will be interesting to see how this comes together, as it does have some interesting modifications and additions.

Misprint. I think I saw the 7th at 6pm CT.
looks fun
don't love the center shot to a standup target on the pro
what does the time machine shot do on the premium when down?
Quoted from Guinnesstime:Misprint. I think I saw the 7th at 6pm CT.
I doubt you'd find a band that would have more fun (and dedication) than Geddy and Alex with the call outs. They just love to have fun...this is going to be epic!
Quoted from nicoy3k:what does the time machine shot do on the premium when down?
Had the same question - not really clear what it does unless there is an opto that registers a hit. Still could be kind of clunky.
Quoted from dr_nybble:Does the time change on the time machine?
I don't believe so unfortunately.
Trying to decide if the premium is worth it.
Quoted from dr_nybble:Does the time change on the time machine?
I hope it changes to a new date with a song from that year.
I don’t know Tom Graf, but I’ve listened to enough Triple Drain podcasts to suppose that upon seeing the reveal, Tom let out the loudest most primal scream of joy that has ever been emitted from a human being’s vocal cords.
Quoted from rolandthoms:Love the not too subtle Canadian-isms. [quoted image]Inukshuk on the LE back glass. Inukshuk tumbles down when you tilt

But no poutine. Sigh.

Popular myth inukshuks are not meant to ward off evil ..they are used to mark routes for travelers across the northern tundra
If La Villa Strangiato is not the most complex mind-blowing mode ever put in a pinball machine I will be disappointed.

Good catch, wondering how many people outside of Canada know what inukshuks are in the first place, but that's pretty cool to see.
I was watching the pro video features and they by mistake included a shot of the Prem/LE ramp lifting along with the clock. Cmon now. Haha.
I was thinking too - I dislike maiden music big time (I like Rush more) and I own maiden so stern knows how to make a music pin still shine for those that don’t care about the band.
Quoted from MasterBlaster:I don’t know Tom Graf, but I’ve listened to enough Triple Drain podcasts to suppose that upon seeing the reveal, Tom let out the loudest most primal scream of joy that has ever been emitted from a human being’s vocal cords.
I do know Tom Graf. And I am 100% sure that you are correct. In fact I haven't heard from him since the reveal, so I fear his head may have actually exploded...
Game looks great. Looks to be a very refined X-Men clone. Not saying that's a bad thing. Definitely lots of Aerosmith, Kiss, and TMNT vibes too. Makes sense, since reusing good design elements is definitely John Borg's style. Very interesting what they decided to keep vs remove for the premium/pro split this time. First video I was picking out the typical things I figured they would remove, and I was mostly wrong...which is cool. Premium has some fun adders for sure, but the pro will not be a slouch by any means. Rules sound interesting so far too based on the TWIP article. Looks like this will be a winner all around. Can't wait to play it!

It’s the test for echo album cover not some mysterious Canadian hat tip.
Quoted from LargemouthAss:Anyone know if the expression lighting will be available as a kit for the Pro/Prem?
Yes it will. Already asked and ordered
Looks pretty good. I love the art on the pro and premium based on the colors and the owl. Pro looks solid too. I can’t afford a pinball machine right now but id be comfortable paying for the pro or premium, especially if you can add the expression lights. Looking forward to playing it in the next couple of months.
Quoted from Black_Knight:It’s the test for echo album cover not some mysterious Canadian hat tip.
Missing the point. Most people have no idea what an inukshuck represents. Not a hidden cap tip.
