Both great bands for their respected genres.
Both pins would sell well.
My vote goes to Rush

Quoted from cdnpinbacon:What really puzzles is me no pink Floyd series pin. ..start with dark side of the moon.
Don’t get me started…dream pin for me and if done right, would be an amazing pin. I know many think PF music doesn’t suit pinball, but I’ve been a floyd historian for over 30 years and could come up with plenty of great tunes that would work well covering all eras. They’ve definitely got the themes and the tunes, but sadly I don’t think they would ever license it out. They take their music far too seriously (Especially Roger Waters) to license it out and have a game made out of it.
I’ve seen a lot of buskers doing Floyd stuff - some of them have real talent.
I’m biased toward Rock pins and think they have great replay value. Both Rush and Motley would sell well as both have a huge fan base for their respective genres. Music is subjective and I hate all the arguments on ‘who is better’ be on here or on FB - it’s trivial and pointless. Always glad to see new rock pins coming out - regardless of which band is next.
A Pink Floyd Machine would work. Talk about theme integration...they've got the imagery - and Plenty of songs to choose from that would fit Pinball well. It would be my #1 Dream theme.
Like some of the song wishlists I’m seeing so far for RUSH….I’d like to see YYZ, Tom Sawyer, limelight, 2112 edit, passage to Bangkok, Jacobs ladder, freewill, Red barchetta, test for echo, working man, spirit of the Radio, subdivisions, and bring on the Neil Peart drum solo multiball!
Who's Pert? Never heard of him. IF you're going to diss a dead legendary drummer at least spell his name right FFS
At least it’s ‘live’. Sadly one of my favorites went the lyp-synching route for the past 20 years….that former favorite being Roger Waters.
