    Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

Rush maybe has a little better lead singer, but with what Vince lacks in vocals, Mick and Tommy more than adequately make up for. You could pull almost any 3 songs from each of the first 4 albums and have a kick ass pin.
Have a black shout at the devil cabinet with Allister Fiend on the sides of the head and pentagram on the sides of the cabinet with shout at the devil written below it.(won’t happen though).Have a Theatre of pain cabinet, or a Dr Feelgood cabinet.
I don’t want the naked Rush Dude. So many Crue songs I can name off the top of my head, Rush, not a chance. Rush puts off a gay vibe in my opinion. Sorry Rush fans.

    Quoted from Captain_Howdy:

Loads of bands that should get a treatment before a virtually unknown band like Rush.

Virtually unknown? One of the most absurd statements in this thread. All three are masters of their instrument(s) and Neil was one of the most influential percussionists to ever pick up a pair of sticks. You don't just wake up one day with a name like "The Professor". Rush has released 24 Gold records and 14 Platinum records (including 3 multi-Platinum), placing them fifth behind the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Kiss and Aerosmith (who coincidentally all have their own Stern pins) for the most consecutive Gold or Platinum studio albums by a rock band in the United States. Hardly unknown IMO.

Don't know who the F#ck Rush is, and not going to google to find out!

Your loss. To exist in the same time as Rush & to actively try to never enjoy them is a crime against the universe.

    Quoted from Jaybird815:

Rush will sell well in North America, and flop in Europe/Australia. The majority of pinsiders from Eur/Aus either have never heard of them or aren’t fans.

Yep. In all my years of gigs and hanging out with music lovers I don’t really recall Rush ever being mentioned by anyone ! ….. they were really not a thing here in the UK.

Nope. Heads good and psychiatrist said so lol. Put a poll up and guaranteed Crue would crush Rush. Well maybe not in Canada but I still bet Crue would win in a heartbeat. Record sales don’t lie either. Fanboyism can be terminal. Stay healthy my friend.

Many more people heard of Rush thanks to Johnny Atkins character on the Goldbergs, and they still don’t care for Rush and if they heard them on the radio they would change the channel.

At least no girl was ever assaulted at a Rush concert.

    #115 2 years ago

Buy TWD and do the Slayer mod. That game is ridiculously awesome when you add Slayer. So freaking cool.

    #116 2 years ago

Rush with Tommy Lee now on drums

    #117 2 years ago

Black Sabbath first, and Motörhead I know which will never happen. But Rush or Crue, ok if both our done I guess since it’s rock.

Yeah they do. Cardi B has sold millions upon millions and she sucks. Both bands would sell just fine its simply taste at war here. I liked Motley Crue when I was a kid but Rush is the vastly superior band that's just a fact. Personally I don't want either. I like early rush but it got progressively worse and worse in the 80's and the 90's? shit. Crue has a few good songs but for the most part they suck. Ah who cares anyway. I'll wait for Sabbath, Motorhead, Priest and Slayer.

Yeah, but most Crue fans don't make enough money to buy a pinball machine. They're too busy eating corndogs at state fairs while they follow the Crue and Def Leppard around the country. Rush fans all went into nerdy IT jobs and are loaded...especially since there are no concert tickets to spend money on anymore.

I knew a nice couple who when we invited them to go out to a nice place would show up with a new set of Crue tshirts.Full disclosure they told me about a great new band and their album was titled Back in Black.Doh

Last I checked Crue are not playing state fairs and what’s wrong with an occasional corn dog

THis. I have no idea what they would do with Rush as far as pinball. I do like them a lot. I listen to them often. But Crue just makes a heck of a lot more sense.....they cut to the chase with song topics we all love. "Girls, Girls, Girls". Yes! my favorite 3 things! "She goes down". Yes! Who doesn't like when she does that?

Having said this, I think I'm just going to move ahead and build a Pink Floyd pin. I just have no idea why this wouldn't have been made a long time ago. I am going to order lasers and a smoke machine and get started.....

Ok, but do you know how many women were into this back in the day? Crue was the first concert I went to as a teen and I think I spent more time watching the crowd than the band. Did Rush have female fans? I think it was just male band geek theatre types.

    #137 2 years ago

    Rush all day!!!!

    #138 2 years ago
    Quoted from Rarehero:

He’s not. He always fails to understand pop culture & fanbases that he’s unaware of. Just because things are outside of a personal bubble of knowledge doesn't mean they don’t exist. He didn’t know what R&M was, dismissing that it’s one of the biggest shows with a rabid fanbase….he thought Halloween wouldn’t sell, dismissing the huge horror fan world.
It’s weird that someone who wants to blow Slash doesn’t understand the passionate fanbase of bands.
It’s cool to not like a band. It’s ignorant to dismiss the success of Rush, their influence, and their fans.

Oh you're right about him not understanding things hes not into but he's mostly right about rush being a bad theme . I just think most rush music doesn't lend itself well to the kinetics of pinball. I feel the same way about Zep though and they made that game so what do I know. I'd rather have rush than zep any day

    #139 2 years ago

There is unrest in the forums
    There is trouble on pinside
For the Motley’s want some pinball
More than Crue ball could provide….

Likely Rush had as many female fans as Pinball does. Sounds like a perfect demographic to me for a band theme.

I think many songs are perfect for pinball. Imagine hitting start and hearing the opening riff of Spirit of Radio…then hitting launch blows you into the song. I think there are clever ways you can edit the music to really punch up the pinball moments, similar to the way Metallica does in some ways.

Can’t seem to get Tom Sawyer out of my head after all these years. Don’t need it under the glass. Crüe for the pinball experience.

And because a Crue pin won't be made, all the fans can use that money on needed front tooth dental work...

…and it’s possible that the Crue votes are just anti-Rush votes & not actually buyers of a Crue pin. A more accurate poll would just be “Would you buy a Rush pin?” Yes or No.

Someone should start a poll for some of the pins K thinks would be better than Rush: Spice Girls, Madonna, Michael Jackson. Let’s see how well those fare around here lol
