No issues (aside from the SD card that crapped out in the middle of a game today and required replacement).

Zip ties were tight but not to the extent of causing sheath damage. Zip ties have been cut off and replaced.

A pin inside the ramp connector at Node 10 was not seated properly and loose. The pin was reinserted and properly seated.

This happened to me the other day while I was playing. Machine froze and wouldn’t boot at all after. Thought this could have been the issue so put an SD card I. From another game and it booted right up.

I love how Stern sends out the the $200 board and the $40 motor but not the $1 harness piece that’s been crushed by zip ties to make sure that all possible issues are resolved. LOL

I know that. I have one of those motors. I’m talking about what Stern supplies in their replacement kit.

Makes you wonder if it can be overly tight zip ties on the clock motor?

Thank you for the quick reply. I haven’t had any issues, but bought and installed a long lead motor. I’m just following to stay updated on the issue.

I’m out of town and can’t verify the order of the wires that go into Node 10 from the motor, however it may be worth while for someone with a properly working ramp to post the order and a picture of the connector.

It wouldn’t be the first time someone sent something out wired incorrectly.

Possibly an assembly issue with the wire crimps in the connector.

Yes, they removed the middle connector from the equation but you still need crimps on the connector pins and that wire gauge is thin.

I don’t think I’d do that because then you may have two machines down. Contact your distributor/Stern and advise. They will advise you as to what course of action is recommended.
