Quoted from mario_1_up:f it brings it down to a reasonable price.
I am a sucker for one even if its not that reasonable.
The only tough part of the frame are the lexan/plexi panels. I have a friend getting a price together for the panels to be made.
Quoted from Aurich:Are you thinking for the dual Alibaba displays, or an actual DMD? Not sure what people are using for their builds.
I am thinking about using the duel displays just because they are much bigger.
Quoted from kbliznick:I am up for 2 frames right now and probably a couple more shortly after that. These will make great gifts for a couple of my pinhead friends.
I am in for a couple if it happened in a reasonable time frame.
Quoted from lurch:OK.... took the .dxf file and uploaded to http://www.bigbluesaw.com got the following prices for the frame Front:

We could bring this price down by bulk ordering! But someone would need to take on the task of distributing them.
Is this just the front, or the front and back?
Quoted from Limpan:I know Torbjörn said that he wanted to release some kind of software for making your own SD-cards in the future, but I'll update you guys if I hear anything about it. However, with the the 2.20 firmware you can set the Run-DMD to a family mode (making it work without zombies getting a crow bar in the head ), and he's also working on a feature that will make it possible to hide/show any animations.
My kids are in college so I want that crow bar in the head thing.
Quoted from labnip:i'm interested in this, but... does it come with the cool music from the video too ?
No sound as of yet.
Quoted from phillymadison:Did Lowes have the sizes of plexi-glass in stock or did you have to cut a piece?
They have different sizes but you will have to cut to size.
Quoted from phillymadison:Might I ask? What's the size they cut it to?
The original is aprox 25 x 7 1/8 you could go a little bigger if you wanted to.
Quoted from Limpan:I would also like to mention that Torbjörns latest image file (B118) contains a total of 588 animations, and the latest additions are Scared Stiff, Cactus Canyon, Getaway: High Speed II, and Judge Dredd.
Where do I get these images to download?
Quoted from docquest:For those who ordered the DMD panels from the link on the run-dmd site, how long did it take to get the panels shipped from China to the US?
Mine came quick,a little over a week.
Quoted from ddebuss:Im curious what the total length of time it takes to get through all the current animations at this point. Anyone have a clue?
I believe there are 588 animations on the card so depending on how the delay is set it should be easy to figure.
I have an extra clock and was thinking of a wood case and now that I see yours I am going to go in that direction. Looks great.
Quoted from Eddie:Anyone figure a way to flash B122 animations using a MAC ?
I have a Mac and a PC and have only been able to do it on the PC as of yet.
On my clock it kept rebooting when just sitting there. When I would hold my finger on the power cable where it plugs into the clock it would work fine. I bent the contact in the female socket on the board so the plug is tighter and that did the trick,no more reboots.
Quoted from pinballinreno:I'm in, just bought all the parts and ordered the frame.
This is going to EPIC ! ! !
Good for you. Ordering the parts and putting it together is most of the fun.
Quoted from Mayboyz:Hi everyone
I have a clock I need to sell. It's the large version in orange used for 3 months
How large and how much.
Quoted from mrossman5:Damn, wish I could afford one.
I may have an extra one if interested.
Quoted from Irishbastard:Ordered everything last night, Thanks Again!
Could you share how much it all costs for the parts. Just wondering if it is better than buying it all together.
