A question for other owners (and the manufacturer I suppose.
I am mounting my RunDMD in an area where I won't really be able to access the power button. I prefer to not unplug it all the time, but is there any harm in keeping it on continually? Is there a "life expectancy" for any of the components?
Just want to insure that if I keep it on all the time I am not doing a bad thing.

Found the 4 buttons to set time and menu is easy to read. Have a few questions that have been asked but hoping the answers can be consolidated here.
1) Is it possible to switch the time off and only see the animations? My recollection is that this isn't possible for a technical reason.
2) Is there a way to change how frequently images are displayed? My memory is that only one speed was possible due to how clock functions.
3) How many images are currently stored when the clock ships and is it possible to download a future file with more?
You can change the animation speed in the menu. I saw that when going through the menu on mine.
I got the last run, and I think I was told it had 1500 animations in it.
I have not noticed an option to turn off the clock portion and run only the animations.
