Quoted from Charlemagne1987:

I read in another forum topic that Hotwheels is just a misdirection and that AP is actually doing BTTF as their next game. That's a definite buy for me as an NIB. I love American, but am out on a Hotwheels. It holds no interest for me. Back to the Future, however? Hell, yeah. I love the theme. I'd be reluctant to buy it if Stern made it because I don't like their quality. But American or JJP would be awesome. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Any insider scoop?

Your trying to hard. No conspiracy, it’s Hot Wheels.

You are basing this on a rumored game title that you have never seen, nor played. Rock on dude. Every distributor I have talked to that sells to the public believes that a Hot Wheels theme could potentially be a great seller.
Oooh yeah, the Pinside snobs are going to sink American Pinball. LMFAO.

Stop being rational!! lol. Agreed, hard to judge a game or company based on nothing. Yet it happens often. Oddly I think this title could be done rather well by AP. Fun yet not to serious and a million directions they could go with it from game play to code. Much better market reach then a beer festival in my opinion. Be fun to see what they can do before assuming their failure. They are changing many things up as a company and I am hopeful they can find their home run with this title.

I think you mean "Michael Jackson once stopped by to use your bathroom".
"Ok, he didn't.......but his sister did!"

Or was it his sister???

AP Hot Wheels is something that I could get into. Hard to believe it has not been done before.
BTTF simply is a pass.
As for Oktoberfest, I have not had a beer in three decades, but I really like this game. The whole theme works well with pinball. Each tent at the festival is a mode in the game. Collect steins to enhance the points in modes. Funny stereotypical German jokes and music. Not to mention the game is a brick shithouse and reliable as hell. I haven't taken the glass off since it came here in November.

A hindsight statement but if Octoberfest was themed and promoted as a simple carnival game I think (with improved graphics) it would have been a hit reaching a wider audience. Just an opinion.
