Noob question: When a game doesn't have an official rulesheet published, do players just have to "figure it out"?
For modern pins there's usually a page on the tiltforums wiki that people will update as they figure it out

What game are you talking about. If your talking about 007 there is no code there so play 3 games and you have learned everything
I was referring to James Bond 007, but it was a general question that can apply to any game. Star Wars by Stern doesn't seem to have an official rulesheet either.
