    Dear all,

I have read about two and three strikes tournament types on the WPPR 5.0 rules.

Could somebody explain me this modus of event.

I am not familiar with it, or maybe it is called different here in Austria

    Thank you in advance.

These are typically run with Brackelope, which is a iOS app for running pinball tournaments.

The rules are simple: you run matchplay against randomly chosen opponents. A player that has lost N times is no longer in the tournament.

Note that this is not the same thing as swiss-style--opponents are chosen from the entire pool of players still in the event.
