Just started having an issue with Rudy. If I start a game with his mouth closed it will work fine. If I get the game ready for multiball where Rudy’s mouth is open but don’t get the multiball his mouth will not do anything after starting a new game. If I manually close his mouth and start a game he works fine again until his mouth is left open. I checked the high-power board on the playfield and the transistors are all testing the same numbers as the other similar transistors on the board. Could this be a transistor on the main driver board if so which one would control his mouth. This game only has about 300 plays on it since being completely rebuilt including new gears and everything else for Rudy. I did not replace the motor for the jaw tho that is original.

I wish i knew that answer. That would help troubleshoot the problem i thought I read somewhere that a transistor or two on the driver board did something nut I can't find it now

Ok i went down and tried it this morning and now it won't move in test or during the game whether his mouth is closed or open

are you talking about the gear on the motor or the plastic gears that make the mouth move.

That is what i thought i do have a motor on order I will update if it helps.

Just an update I replaced the motor and that resolved my issue Rudy is back!!!
