Hello to all!

So I have a Funhouse which used to have a Rudy that will have a normal sleep pattern, eyes will open, close, move to the left, right, eyelids up and down, normal... but yesterday after several hours of playing, I noticed that the only thing moving is his mouth, nothing else. So before getting into the task of disassemble Rudy's head is there something I should check before?

Many thanks!

Connectors also put head in test mode and see if the features are working or not

I'm hoping that is the reason, a loose connection... not looking to make a facial on Rudy... I'll report once I get a chance to work on it.

Thanks!

Hello... so I checked the connector J122 (reseated, tight it up) and noticed that the fuse F-104 was blown (3A S/B). I replaced the fuse and it blown again after I turned on the machine... *sigh* any idea on what to do next?

Many, many thanks!

Check the solenoids 9-16 for a short or other anomaly that is causing it to blow.

All 3 popbumpers

Both slingshots

Steps gate

Trough and Rudy Eject

So I was (finally) able to check the machine out, all the coils under the play field seemed fine, all the connections tight and so forth. I decided to unplug the connector that "feeds" Rudy's eyes, popped a new fuse and turned on the machine, the fuse didn't blow; turned off the machine, plugged back the connector... boom! fuse blown immediately. So I guess the "short" or problem is on Rudy's head... I just removed Rudy's covers to check the obvious but everything from outside seems fine (no loose cable or hardware laying down). I know I have to remove Rudy from the play field but with the above symptoms, what would be your best guess that is causing this short?

Many thanks for your input!

The coil that activates his eyes is probably blown just find the part number on the label and replace it.
