I know some others have had this happen as well, The question is what should I glue it back on with?
my first though was 5min epoxy or maybe hot glue. what did anybody else use?

Loctite Super Glue Gel. Put a small thin bead across the top of the flipper. Press the slipper on. Done. No need to clean either surface first.

I used side rail tape from Pinball Restorations, looks like same stuff factory used. I knocked slipper off when changing flipper rubbers. Stuck tape to slipper, trimmed to match slipper and stuck it on flipper bat. Many plays with no problems.
