Okay Gotta LOL at the subject.

Here we go. I have seen very conflicting responses about how to set the flipper with respect to the small hole in the PF. So this is yet again, another thread on how to set the flippers. Are the flippers set to the hole with the rubbers on or off? Should the flippers be parallel to the lane guides?

Really need know the correct answer to this.
    Thanks for the inputs.

With the rubber on, you can wedge a tooth pick between the flipper bat and rubber ring, set the tooth pick in the hole. This holds it in place and makes tightening easier.

This is what I do too. Or just eyeball it parallel to the guide

Yes but in the newer Sterns isn't the pin hole in front of the flipper? What is the best way to line those up correctly?

So what you're saying is to put my rubber on and put it in the hole?

I prefer rubber off. Just choose your game carefully before going to work.

It's 2017 and I'm the only one who plays my games, who wears rubbers?

You clean those cabinets once in awhile and you wouldn't have this problem.
