Can anyone with a RF take a closer than game play position view of their BG and let me know if the black lines look as poor as this example. If you could add a pic that would be awesome. Looking at the black outline of the player 3 you can see it's blotchy. It's worse though on the Jack card below it. The Black lines look really blotchy, click on the pics for a better view.

Feel free to tell me if I'm being too picky and all BG's have anomaly's of some sort, I do have a tendency to get OC.

Thanks

The Queen looks really bad in this pick as well.

You have bright reds and no fading from the tape behind the back glass

I'd be happy

I have owned Gottlieb games with much worse factory mistakes. Sometimes blotches got by the quality control guys, esp. for low production games. Yours looks pretty normal to me. I have seem early Williams with just stunning screening on the glass.

More than likely, your glass was made at the "end of use" of the Black line Silk Screen. As the screens are used, they get worse and worse until at some point, they must be re-exposed. They should have probably rejected it at after the black line but it obviously got through. Usually, this type of glass was a reject and would not have been placed on a machine but rather put in inventory for when a distributor ordered a replacement.

The big question is: Does it bother you enough to want to buck up $300 plus shipping for a brand new replacement? I am sure you could get at least $150 on the resale market of your old one if not more.

image.jpgimage.jpg if you are not happy with the one you have or if someone is looking for a replacement I have this one available. Thanks

On my iPhone, the area at player 3 and the Jack both appear to be touched up. Is the back of the glass virgin?

Obviously you are not happy with your current back glass or you would not be posting about it here. Buy the one Kwm88 is selling or buy one from either Shay or Webb (I forget who is selling repros) Its all about being able to pony up 300 plus shipping for a new one.
