There's a video of a resetting Royal Flush Player Unit that might help at:

Thanks,
Does not really help. Game always starts in 2 player. Can manually set it to 1 player. Not sure why the wipers start in the wrong position. Maybe a mechanical problem.

That Helps. Thanks
So when you start a game you end up with a 2 player game. All the lights, scoring, etc. work as if it's a two player game?
Can you coin up a 3 or 4 player game?
I'd look at your Coin Unit. It may not reset all the way to the reset or 1 player game position.
The game starting with 2 players is a mechanical problem with the Coin unit stepper.
The reason for needing a picture of the Player unit is that the Player up lights don't work so likely the Player unit wiper is out of alignment.
Player up lights work. Ball in play lights don't. Yes I can play a 3 or 4 player game fine with proper scoring
Added over 2 years ago:Update. Game starts fine (except always starts in 2 player mode seems after the decrement coil fires the increment coil fires immediately once to advance to player 2 on the coin unit). Game always stays in ball 1. Ball kicks out of out hole rolls over trough switch which energizes P & O relays and target bank resets. Player unit coils does not fire to advance to next ball after ball 1. Can manually change it to ball 2-5. Can score on all players. Motor switches appear to be fine. Ball 1 relay stays energized continually ( I assume that is correct) Any thoughts? This game is driving me crazy.
Thanks

Hi Frank,
I decided to answer this post instead of your new post, since there’s background here.
I’d look at the “2 player” issue first. The schematic shows, at location 20E, that the coin unit step up happens through a switch on the S relay, score motor switch 1D, and a switch on the U relay.
The way this is supposed to work is that the count unit only adds one player if you press the replay button after the reset sequence has completed for player 1.
I’d check the S and U relay switches to make sure they aren’t closed when they’re not supposed to be (and the solder tabs aren’t touching where the wires are connected). It should be pretty obvious since this happens every time you start a game.
The S switch has a red-white wire and a Green-yellow wire.
The U switch has a blue-orange and an orange+blue wire. It’s a make-break switch, so check that in each position, one switch is open and the other is closed. Sometime you find that both are closed or both end up open, and that causes a problem.
Good luck,
Dave
