Personally, I don't think it's all that bad for the games to show a little wear. It's kinda cool, especially the 90s games. I've got a WH2O that was clearly routed with scuffs on the backbox, little thumbtack holes around the top where people use to attach fliers or something. I can imagine it in the back of a pizza joint or something.
I've considered cleaning it up. Repairing the wood, cabinet decals… etc but I think, for me, that would take away some of the charm of it. The playfield is nice & it plays perfectly. I kinda like it just the way it is.
