Looks like a few upsets.

There are some tough choices on this one. I even skipped a couple because I couldn't decide. MB vs. Wh2o could be a huge upset.

#5 2 years ago

I feel sorry for all pins being matched against MM and TZ, so far they are crushing the opposition.

Yea, this one hurt me. I love both

And fortunately this year, they don't face each other until massive battles first.....whew...getting good!!!

Sorry for the delay on posting the new matchups, as well as the results of the previous round - life's busy today. I will be adding a handful of statistics by the end of the night.

#9 2 years ago

36 hours until polls close. Get your votes in as they truly do count!

That either Stern Star Trek or AC/DC is going to make the Sweet 16 is due to fortunate draws. ST had Dracula, now AC/DC. AC/DC had GotG, now Star Trek. They're both good games, but I'm not sure either one would beat any of the other 30 left.

I'd love to see this tourney with the top 100 EMs sometime.

Pretty shocked to see TWD getting hammered early by Maiden. I like the game, but man, the final polish on TWD makes it one of Stern's strongest imho...

TWD is up against JP so that may be it?

JP vs TWD. Some of these match ups suck. JP and TWD are 2 of sterns best ever and both should move on to next round. Shadow not making it to the second round is BS.

Ahh, you're right. Still even against that title it should be closer. In fairness, I've only played JP and IMDN in the wild, but my TWDLE absolutely kicks ass!!

It could be worse, scared stiff might dethrone GNR. That’s pretty laughable right there.

Agree TWD is pretty amazing. But so is JP, and even IMDN for that matter. Can’t go wrong with either and could see either one beating the other in these vs competitions on ‘any given Sunday’.

Yea...looks like some stars are lining up and all JJP could fall this round... weird.

I suspect both JP and IMDN would kill w time on them....but no way I'd let my TWDLE go for either...I just like it too much...

Think Whitewater is the Cinderella in this dance though...

Well, I honestly prefer SS (and a majority of the classic 90s pins) before TWD, GNR and IMDN any day, people have different taste, so nothing to see here.... move along

Less than 24 hours to vote for Round 2. A few matchups could change with a handful of votes.

Scared stiff should dethrone GNR. Scared stiff has been around for a long time and plenty of people have played the game. Gunners has only been out for a few months and not that many people have played it enough.. game is still very much honey moon stage.

And look at TSPP!!!!! 5 votes separate it from JJPPOTC........that game still gets played alot in my lineup...my Son in Law always hits it first when visiting.

(my soon to be next Son in Law is absolutely fascinated w my newest add - MMrRE, as am I....deserving of it's place)

We have friends that love TSPP! In Australia it is quite difficult to find a JJPPOTC to play. As I love TSPP i voted for it too. Same with Gunners. I have not been able to play it yet so voted for Scared Stiff..

MMrRE is rightfully one of the greatest games ever made. Remake of a classic with big color screen and improvements everywhere else. Congratulations on being able to get one. We have a MMr classic and love it. I would expect MM to win the tournament.

I do love my LE and pinball logic would agree....oddly, very few of my friends stay on it too long....deep game that can be rough to just walk up to.

I think all JJP games are hard to walk up to and enjoy. The rules are far too complex....probably why MMR and AFMR are so popular both fun pins with rules that are easy to understand

Could be right. Stunning games however ( still love my WOZ as well). Dialed In is the only one I've never considered owning even though I spent time on it (just not for me). My WOZECLE and POTCLE are thoroughly enjoyed. Not a band pin guy, but gonna be hard for me to stay away from GnR for too long I'm afraid....

I've owned all the JJP games....the rules are very very deep....most newbies get lost....it usually takes me 30-50 games to understand whats going on

I can get to the " mostly understanding" fairly quick. It's the "getting it done" part that does me in..
