Wpc 89 driver board. Judge Dredd.

Was removing bad transistors when I noticed this resistor looked off. Testing with the meter confirmed it's dead. But I'm a bit confused as to getting a replacement. Williams schematics show R150 as being a .22 ohm resistor. The banding shows it to be a .69. Do the rottendog boards differ from the official schematics?

Picture of a good resistor on the board for comparison...

What's wrong with the resistor, other than being gouged up a bit when you were removing the transistor? Merely a flesh wound - I bet it still measures fine.

It measures nothing at all.

Failed open?
Also, the solder joints on R150 look a lttle iffy

Looks like it's closed. I get no continuity through it, and measuring resistance just shows OL on the meter.

All the other like resistors show .6 ohms and show continuity.

That should answer the question. I believe the resistor is actually a 0.68 (R68) Ohm 5% resistor. It is often difficult to tell the difference between gray (8) and white (9) particularly when the resistances are small. The E12 values of R47, R56 or R68 fit the bill.

Perfect... that's the info I needed.

Thanks everyone for the help. Two transistors and one resistor replaced. Everything is working as expected.
