Was looking at buying a spare CPU board (MPU089) by Rottendog. The 4 games I own that it will go in are:

Bride of Pinbot, Demolition Man, ST:TNG and Popeye.

I would appreciate users experience with this Rottendog CPU board in any of the pins I listed?

I see Rottendog is located in Punta Gorda FL.

Does Jim Knight still own and run RottenDog or did he sell off the company?

Is RottenDog still making boards or developing other new products.

Just trying to get answers I haven't found by searching the internet or Pinside.

I just replaced my BSD with a rottendog MPU089 (A-12742) through K's arcade a week or two ago. Simple plug in play option with the NVRAM installed, and no problems as of yet.

If there are issues with the board, rottendog will have to address them, not the distributor.

While not with games you listed, I have this MPU in my Getaway after mine was exhibiting all sorts of issues. This board has worked perfectly for the 9 months+ since I've had it, and I added the NVRAM which has been awesome for me. Not sure why RD gets a bad wrap sometimes, but I've replaced 3 boards in my pin with RD, and everything performs as new and is 100% reliable.

BTW, check out arcadeshop.com (may need to call) for best prices on RD (at least this has been my experience).
