    Caveat emptor with these microprocessors. Genuine originals are almost impossible to find. Almost all of these are re-branded. If you get one that doesn't work it could be a Hitachi processor masquerading as a Motorola. The Hitachi processor may require a configuration change on certain boards (not necessarily the MPU004). Of course, it goes without saying that you should contact the merchant if the processor does not work. I bought a batch of these labeled as Motorola but they were all Hitachi. I only figured it out by switching the configuration and seeing the board work.
