    Quoted from Dimperio620:

I recently installed a Rottendog MPU004 board in my Data East Seacret Service pinball machine. To get the board to boot I had move the jumper from J5 to J4. The board boots and plays but I can't save the settings. When I tried to boot the board with the NVRAM chip (RAMtron) that came with the board it wouldn't boot. The PIA light would continue to flash. I also tried putting a "anyPin" NVRAM at that location and it did the same thing as the NVRAM that was supplied with the board. I know I have the "anyPin" NVRAM jumper correctly for the 6264 configuration. The board does boot and play when I use the chip located at U36 that was in my Secret Service machine. I think this has to to with the size of the chips being used but I'm not sure. Does someone know what I'm doing wrong here?
