Welcome to pinside...I think you'll find, like life in general, if you take a few moments to do a bit of research before you ask a question, you can save yourself some potential hassles.
Most *typical* questions (how do I remove playfield glass, how do I remove the backglass, how do I move this machine I just bought, how do I - "insert topic here", etc.) have been answered many, many times. Asking those types of questions will often be met with scorn and ridicule.
If you have specific questions about your game, particularly tech questions, you're likely to get a more direct response as those with technical knowledge try to help.
You sound like you've jumped feet first into the hobby and will figure out how to 'swim' as you go. Nothing wrong with that.
We were all new once so don't be put off by those who doubt you.
