Quoted from markmon:Absolutely zero. i provide pinball machines for the pinball bulbs booths at shows. I guess pinball bulbs was not allowed to purchase a booth at PAGG due to something with nifty led. So we will never go to PAGG and instead support CAX. It will be at CAX this year.
Understandable. I will be at CAX too, hope to see it! Amazing job!
Quoted from bigdaddy07:Looks like you turned it into the game it should have been. I never understood why they made a RS pin when the did. It felt like a total demographic miss...
Like the Aerosmith miss if they choose to do that instead of Maiden...

Got to agree there. Can't see any "rabid" Aerosmith fans out there. Certainly none that I have ever met.

Except Bruces's chest hair is kinda creapy.
Edit. Creepy / Awsome.
Nice job, I love me some iron maiden!!!
Well done sir!!!
Well Mark, gotta give it to you. This is the way to show your art direction chops as opposed to just mouthing off. Respect.
Haters of anything take note. Gonna whine about something? Step up and do this.
Thanks guys for the kind words
I think I'm going to install a headphone jack just for the people that play this at the shows so they can hear the game.
Awesome.
Maybe instead of puttng in a new translite, you could try to stick in a lcd screen, and show random translites every new mode, or minut.
You could put in 1000s of epic ones.
Quoted from markmon:Cabinet decals are applied. I see I screwed up the iron maiden font but I'm not redoing it now. Still looks good.

Looks way better than any recent release. That's how pinball art should look! Really amazing work Mark.

This idea could apply to any pinball machine as a cool mod.

Quoted from markmon:I think this project is completed. Game added to my game room.
Congrats! Can you post a better/more complete gameplay video?
Quoted from AlexSMendes:Congrats! Can you post a better/more complete gameplay video?
Sure I'll try to do that tonight.
Quoted from Billy16:If Stern had any sense they'd use this as a basis for their new game...
If stern can license any of the files I made with maiden I'll happily provide them to stern.
Quoted from markmon:Thanks. You should come by and check it out
I'll hit you up on that.
Looks very nice.
Were the plastics difficult to make? I need to redo the Batwolf plastic in my Andromeda as mine is cracked and I doubt I will ever find a replacement.

I scanned the old ones, laser cut new ones, then printed the decal on sticker paper with Mylar over it. The light shines through well and it looks very nice and glossy. I didn't think this would look good but it really does and so far everyone that's seen the game has agreed the plastics look good.

Finally got one up. I got to record multiball. Still no encore though. The quality is pretty bad since my gameroom has no overhead or ambient lights and the camera reacts poorly to game LEDs.
Way to up the pinball irons!
This is the best example to me that a pinball theme can make a game better!
Quoted from markmon:Here is a photo of the first cabinet decal going on with the trim held up to it.

Stern needs to hire Mark as a consultant on the Iron Maiden pin! After seen this pin, there is no way Mark would let us done! We salute you Mark!
Just fantastic! Great job, Markmon!! Love the colors and especially love the translite and decals. Absolutely beautiful machine. Who said you couldn't polish a turd and make it nice and pretty?
Ha!! I saw your post earlier today mark of the example of powdercoating on the coin door and was thinking "damn I didn't know they made an iron maiden pin I gotta look that up" then an hour later I see this thread pop up.. Holy cow that's a beauty of a retheme!! Amazing work!
