I have a Gotlieb Roller Disco that works intermittently. When I turn it on, it usually works the first time, but if I turn it off and back on, it comes up in tilt, with garbage on the displays, or coils locked on and a bunch of craziness. I've tried quite a few things to fix it.

The power supply is a rotten dog, so I don't think that's my issue.

The driver and mpu have both been tested in a different game and worked fine.

    I replaced the rom chip.

I have repinned all of the connectors to the power supply, mpu, and driver board.

I have completed all of the ground mods.

What else could I be missing to solve this? I'm at a loss here!

    Thanks for the help!

yep a mod on mpu board to disable tilt: https://pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Gottlieb_System_1#Permanently_Disabling_the_Slam_Switches

also check your game over and tilt relays under the playfield.

I checked and cleaned the slam and tilt switches and the relays under the playfield. No luck!

I've reviewed pinrepair and pinwiki, they didn't help unfortunately!

Time to do the opposite and take power supply from other game and try in Roller disco.

If the Rd PS is switching they have a small discharge period due to the stiff caps in them.

This is 100% the problem. Wow. If I wait 60 seconds, it restarts perfectly. It must just take a bit for the power to dissipate. Here I've been trying everything I could think of to solve this, and it's been working all along! Thanks for the help!
