Anyone torn down the playfield? I bought an RCT for the family for Xmas and it really wasn’t too clean. Figured since I’m locked in the house I’d clean/wax/led her. This is my first tear down and I was wondering if anyone had a particular order they would recommend especially with all the ramps/rails etc. Thanks In advance.

So I’ve removed all the ramps and am starting the clean and I notice I’m missing a post. I’ve figured out which of two parts of might be, the difference being the length of the thread. The post goes right at the end of the metal guard between the troll and the top bumper(see pic).

I’ve deduced through the rubbers map that it’s got to be either 4a or 4b(see other pic) but am unsure which to order since I can’t find a map of the posts in the manual.

Anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance trying to avoid ordering both.

Help please. Recently my 3 drop targets quit dropping in the lost ball cycle so now they are locking the ball(s) up there constantly. Before this week it would cycle a couple times and then drop, releasing the stuck ball. Targets drop and reset as they should when in test mode, but when playing if one gets stuck it’s there for good until I can knock them down from the front, go into test mode and drop, or literally push with finger. Any ideas where to start in order to remedy this? Thanks in advance.

Figured out the issue. Stopped tripping altogether. Burned the coil. Now can’t find a replacement. All shops in US are out of stock. Anyone know where I can find part # 515-6916-01?

Can anyone tell me if Gottlieb A19508 would be a suitable replacement for stern 515-6916-01? It’s the coil to trip the drop target bank.

just for anyone’s benefit, yes. It works just fine but you have to wire it backwards because the diode is flipped.

Before doing this however, check the transistors, otherwise or it may also go up in flames.
