I really did shout and clap when the guy banged the gavel and declared pinball legal again.
Quoted from sed6:Anyone have a link to the full video? None listed at the top of the page work. They are either dead links or require a sign up and CC.
That's strange! The original Vodlocker link I found (Page 1) still works for me. A few of the other links I later found (listed at the top of Page 2) no longer seem to be working, but the rest still work for me with no need to sign up for anything.
Quoted from northvibe:Ya I'd love that too
In reference to the picture being printed and signed
Quoted from dmbjunky:The purpose of Drunk History is not accuracy, it's comedy. I wouldn't be suprised if they put a pitch and bat in there on purpose. If you want accuracy go watch a documentary, there are a few on Roger Sharpe.
Accuracy and comedy and not mutually exclusive.
For other cord-cutters, the episode is now available on Hulu+ (not sure about free Hulu).
I'd still love to hear more about what the filming process was like, KoolMoeCraig.
Wow. Someone at work told me about this show and I just watched it on Comedy Central. I feel like someone just cut out half of my brain. Could this show possibly be any more stupid? I barely made it through the pinball segment and will never watch another second of that trash.
If you have not seen this, don't bother.

Totally disagree with you. A pretty fun way to learn about historical events. The Revolutionary War and Edison-Tesla stuff was pretty accurate. At least 90% imo. But, to each their own.

No, no, no. You don't understand. This man speaks for all of America, and the globe. If he doesn't like it, then don't bother....it's impossible to like.
I bet Comedy Central feels dumb for making so many episodes.

Sheesh dude. Really? Guess I better watch out for giving my opinion in this public forum.

It's all in the framing of your opinion.
Option 1: "Glad you guys liked the show. However, the humor just isn't my style, and I wasn't a fan of the series."
Option 2: "This show sucks, and only idiots would ever watch it."
Both statements share the same sentiment, but option 2 is written in a hostile way that basically slams anyone with an opposing viewpoint. It's not meant to enhance discussion, it's meant to insult anyone who disagrees.
See the difference?
Pete
The point of the show, as I see it, is to present historical events in an interesting way to people who might not normally care. But it also offers an interesting and often comedic take on historic events that people may or may not already understand.
Quoted from pmWolf:See the difference?
I am well aware of the difference.

I might have said the show sucks. In fact I was trying to say the show is beyond sucking. I would put it in a category reserved for only the absolute worst shows I have ever seen. On the other hand I did not say "only idiots would ever watch it". See the difference?
Just like pinball machines, people have differences of opinion. I can't stand soccer for even one minute, but people who watch it aren't idiots. Oh well, nice to know the mods are so overly sensitive to their own viewpoint to assume things that are not said.

And you had to go that one more step,,,,..
The way they show the reenactors mouthing the drunk person's words is hilarious. It is what makes the show. I guess it would seem pretty dumb if that doesn't strike you as amusing.
Drunk History Roger sharpe episode is on again right now on comedy central
ooopps too late just past
The advantages of being retired
Quoted from Thrillhouse:Only question is why aren't you at work
