Quoted from Flamethrower:I have family in Denver and visit a lot. I haven't been to this show before, but was considering heading up for the weekend this year to check it out. What's it like? Do they have a lot of games? I've only been to the Bay Area shows before, but I think it would be fun to see one somewhere else.
They generally have a bit over 100 games set on free play. I've been to several cons and this is the best one, in my opinion, if you just want to PLAY pinball. They have the largest blocks of time with the games set on free play (most of friday, all of saturday, most of sunday) without having to wait in crazy lines. Saturday night is pretty busy, but otherwise you can usually find an unoccupied pin. The people are generally very friendly. The past few years my wife and I have spent much more time just talking pinball with our new friends than actually playing! The seminars are great. Above all, its very well organized. No confusion about this or that, very clear cut and accessible. I recommend this to all pinheads as a great con to bring their families to. This will be the first time I've missed it in five years! Go in my place and have a great time!
