If this is the top right next to the upper scoop, then yes, mine has a metal rail and rubber ring. I'm in the process of cleaning and adding new plastics, so this pic without the plastics may help. I added the rubber ring a long time ago because the ball would fall from the pop bumpers and get stuck on the metal rail. It appears on yours they added post rubbers but those won't cut it.
Ditto, except when I got mine in before I had shopped it, someone had already done this.
I'm not totally sure if that red post is what was supposed to be there but I left it in when I rebuilt my game after a topside teardown. I just stretched the rubber over the two normal posts and then the red post in addition. Haven't had a ball stuck yet.
