I assumed incorrectly that this connector would be keyed when I pulled it.
Can someone tell me where this connector goes?
Its an 8 pin connector, which has me confused, as I see two 6 pin connectors (RS232) and one 9 pin connector (Title Page).

if you can shoot an image of this area with all connectors installed, that would help too.
    Thanks

Just checked mine.... it goes to 'CD Player' and has an empty pin on the right.

    Hope this helps.

    HUGE help. Thank you.
Do the connectors in my image match what you have in yours?

Will be doing service call on one Saturday. Will check connections, they look to be correct.

I know nothing about these juke boxes, but worked in electronics and computers all my life.

If you look, it is keyed in a way. Look at the two tabs sticking up in each side of the female connector, and the tab sticking off the male connector. Also with the width of the connector it should not fit upside down unless you really force it.

Also something an old timer taught me years ago while working with connectors that have been in place for years.

Usually is you hold them close to where thy belong, the form of the wires almost tell you where they go.

If something has been together for years, if you have to bend or twist wires and connectors around too much, chances are it doesn’t belong. That usually also works with the orientation of the connector.

This is assuming someone else hasn’t messed with them also.

    Thank you.
With the help of this group, everything is OK and back to normal.
