You have an electronic issue for sure but you don't have bad displays.
A bad display would be faint or totally non lit. Yours is just displaying the garbage it thinks it should be. So display, mpu or cable issue.
Not sure if that 200 for what the entire display board may or may not fix you up.
Ok. The jumbled portion is noticeably faded compared to the upper display as well.
This'll be my first time around. Where to start?
Quoted from thedefog:Looks outgassed in the video.
Which would mean the $200 replacement, correct?

Correct.

Or if you are handy with a soldering iron, $105 to replace the glass.

Or if you do not mind Rottendog boards, $150.

FYI BulkOfTheSeries, the Rottendog displays are made up of individual LED segment displays, so there is a little noticeable gap in between each, and it bothers some people. It can be remedied to some extent though. The bonus is no more need for HV section and a display panel that should last indefinitely (at least the LEDs).
The Rottendog has been ordered, as has a missing bumper post.
After a clean and LEDs she'll be back to normal (hopefully)
Hey, I think I've seen that Robocop before! Welcome to another pinsider in Anchorage! Not too many of us up here. Good luck with the new display, would be great to see that once you've got it 100%. Also, might have a spare bumper post floating around somewhere that might fit.

Hahah yeah I reckon you have seen it.
Post is ordered and hoping it is in fact the display and not a board issue.
Don't throw away the old display. One 1/2 still works. You can sell that board and someone will desolder that glass and re-use it.

I'd be willing to bet with 99% certainty it is the glass.
Awesome. Glad it worked! I said with 99% certainty i was sure it was outgassed and didn't wanna be really wrong there.
Nope, as expected! Now to figure out the LED scenario.
Didnt realize there was so little talk of this machine before I bought it. expected to see much more analysis on here.
