Just finished my Robocop project. Still a little adjusting and fine tuning, but I thought I'd share some pics. Bought this as a playfield and parts from a "termite" destroyed game, turned out it was powder post beetles, and they ate the playfield too.

I've been working on it for about 6 or 8 months, had some other projects mixed in there. The cabinet is WPC, bought in a kit from Virtuapin. The artwork and translite came from Retro Refurbs. The toys I got from Ebay, and the tv was a Brady Bunch hallmark ornament. The bugs were dead when I got it, it looks like it was heat treated because the ramps were melted!

The ramp decals had to go, the ramps were melted and were a pain to get back to functional. Removing the 'cheese' was my goal. I had a robocop once and loved it, except for the cartoonish feel for such a dirty gory movie. The wasted playfield gave me the opportunity to darken it up to more match the film.

Quoted from cottonm4:

Oh, and did you have any problems removing the mylar?

Freeze spray worked well, but there was lifting around the inserts, a shame really, the playfield was immaculate except for being hallowed out by insects!
