I suggest replacing you flipper button switches. 9/10 times after a proper/full flipper rebuild if you are unhappy with power then it is an old pitted flipper switch that is the issue.

any lovers of Robowar and Tx-sector should be sure to put some time on its drop target brother, EXCALIBUR!
I think you will enjoy it also
Quoted from Chosen_S:I'm having a lighting issue, I still need to do the ground mods, crossing my fingers to get it done this weekend. then on to tackle this problem...
Id sure appreciate any help, Zen has already pointed me in a good direction to testing the connections, but I know nothing more can really be diagnosed before I do the ground mods...
Thanks guys!

check the lighting replays/ coils on the underside of pf.
I had a head scratcher that ended up just being those relay switches.
Quoted from Chosen_S:found 1 relay that turns on the multi-ship insert lamp matrix, its functioning properly.
leds? or incans?
I would do all the mods first, before chasing stuff.
I still seem to remember an almost identical symptom and it had to do with those coil/relays on the bottom of the pf or are they in the cab? that control the chase lights.
I dont have the game in front of me to look at so sorry not a better description.
from what I remember, yes.
My solution was some combination of mucking with that relay, ground mods, new battery, and full reset.
Quoted from DanQverymuch:Re-heally? I have those two and pine for a TX, might need to adjust my attitude!
I agree. Robo is great but TX tops it for gameplay and audio.
I love having them both and think Excalibur really rounds out the 80b trifecta. If I were to add one more it would be genesis
Quoted from Pinballerchef:Selling a nice Robowar in the marketplace....has a great PF on it.

PM me with any questions you have.
who would do that to a cab... what a mess!
Quoted from Pinballerchef:"makeover"....not horrendous
oh, that makeover is definately horrendous.
Have you tried removing it? You would need to be very careful since this era of cabs is junk board, but I would think a damp rag could take it off it it is just latex house paint.
Quoted from Pinballerchef:I have not. Being as that it doesn't bother me and I'm focused on the way it plays more...not how it looks. I could give it a go but yes I wouldn't want to take off the original paint.
based on the asking price, you may want to give it a go.
With an original cab in good condition you may be in the range. With the current cab, I personally would expect atleast a 1k reduction over the same game with original cab.
Quoted from rollitover:Just to refresh your memory Dave, there are batteries in this one. And it seems one came out just enough to lose contact. Saving scores again. Simple.
Thanks fellas.
Hey btw,
when I change batteries will I also loose the high scores or is there a backup?
I know... rookies...
turn on machine, pull out old batteries, put in new batteries.
All good.
U keep scores if game is on during battery change.
