Great pin guys, played it last week and it was a blast!

#5622 7 years ago
Quoted from Tsskinne:

Nice where did you get to play it at man?

Right in your home town, on Main Street.

#5627 7 years ago
Quoted from Tsskinne:

Cool that's my machine was just curious if there was another in Indiana or not. Glad it played well.

Heck yeah! Thanks for sharing it with us!!

Wish I would have been more aware and was able to get my name on the list for it.

#5628 7 years ago

While we were there Larry was talking about the upcoming tourney, said there would be a AMH machine there. I take it that one is yours as well?

Quoted from princea56001:

Anyone know the most recent pin number out the door at Spooky?

218 is finished, picking it up on Thurs.

#7321 7 years ago

It is almost like the switch needs to be a different shape as it seems to get stuck on the high point of the switch and the start of the slit in the PF.

#7325 7 years ago
Quoted from rotordave:

You could probably replace it with a Stern type switch with a rounded lever.
rd

That was what I was thinking, at least with the shape.

#7326 7 years ago

Only thing we would need to look at is how that affects the balls coming though that return entering the top of that orbit.

#7339 7 years ago
Quoted from bridgeman:

Another one is the ability to restart a game before Ball 3 drains?? Not sure why this would not be a function?

Play all balls like they were your last, never give up on a game. Some of my best games have been when ball one drained quick.

#7341 7 years ago

Oh I don't have a problem with the option.

#7343 7 years ago

218 out the door today, along with 15 others.

Big Thanks to everyone at Spooky!

Quoted from PersonX99:

FYI, for those who like to "mix it up", substitute warm-white 4-smd leds in the smaller round inserts. Because the inserts are multi-color, the warm white has an interesting effect on the insert colors as well as the overall look of the pf. The "chop" inserts really show with warm-white. As always, leds are personal preference...I just wanted to share my experience.

Would love to see a pic of this.

Quoted from NightTrain:

Can someone tell me the difference between the standard and the LE? I'm sure it's in this thread...but it's 150 pages...

Came with a plague and different Armor and Back Glass, I think on the last two.

Quoted from snakesnsparklers:

Let us know what happens! Hopefully it's something very simple. I noticed your game has speaker lights, did you install those yourself?

Really? I don't see them. 4 Screws and the Ghost is all I see.

You mean 248?

If not where has that been hiding?

#7786 7 years ago
Quoted from Mudflaps:

#148
Purchased through a Spooky distributor. Not sure of the back story, but the box had bloody handprints.

Spooky!

#7803 7 years ago
Quoted from FawzmaGames:

In case it was missed on my fb page, there will be an apron display mod coming.

AWESOME!

#7832 7 years ago
Quoted from Shapeshifter:

Thanks - wires look ok but guess there might be a connection not making good contact in the plastic block.
Unrelated.
Can't now remember if any of these issues discussed?
1. Ball gets stuck behind drop target?
2. Ball gets stuck somewhere unseen at back of playfield. Can't see where and when I lift playfield it re-appears. Have to re-start game as game says a message about checking a switch.
Loving the game - just need to get it dialled in 100%

Yes been discussed. Check throughout the thread.

Quoted from bridgeman:

Where do we buy apron mod?

Not available yet and date of release hasn't been announced.

Quoted from RobOOZE:

Rob Zombie 275 has made it home.

Isn't she a little young to be drinking a PBR?

#8254 6 years ago
Quoted from davijc02:

Drinking PBR is an inalienable right of every American regardless of age

If you can stomach it, more power to you.

#8315 6 years ago
Quoted from fugus:

Does it use a raspberry pi? Or tapped into cpu

Uses Ras. Pi that gets info from main board.

Quoted from outcida:

Thanks guys! I've only built the one prototype so far. Any thoughts on whether or not I should back light the sign or not based on the photos? Once I have the design finalized and have some of these built up I'll post them on my site.

Does the sign in the video have the backlight?

#8454 6 years ago
Quoted from outcida:

The sign in the video is not back lit.

If the backlight shines throught the plastic I say back light it.

It would also say it would be cool to make a frame for around the sign and add that to the mod for a more 3D look, plus you could design it so it kept the light directed into the back of the sign.

#8455 6 years ago
Quoted from snakesnsparklers:

Put me down for one! Based on the photos do not backlight the sign with that bulb at least. It looks good with no backlight or maybe try a much dimmer one so the sign isn't washed out.

I am questioning if that is just the picture.

Would kind of like to see a video with the backlight.

#8457 6 years ago
Quoted from SilverballNut:

If you can backlight it so it looks even like a lit up sign that would be great. If it looks harsh like a single light back there, then I'd skip that. Ideally if you could make a small box that had the light in it and the sign in front then that may be best so you won't see light leakage behind, but may be more trouble than it's worth.
