I hear you im in the exact same situation for predator. Really sucked when i got the refund from kevin just to have it cancelled before it cleared. A locked thread just for official posts and updates might not be a bad idea.

Ya Charlie said it when he was talking about the family frendly mode which he said is still pg13.
he said no nudity on the playfeild and one of the plastics would say "Red hot kitty lovers" but there would be a replacement plastic in the goody bag with the real saying on it you can swap out.
I'm working nights and normally don't get up till 2 pm but I've been waking up every hour since 8am because I'm so excited for the release. Wish I could have paid in full when announced lol the canadian dollar is so shitty now. Still gonna be buying it though.
Looks like the ball can just fall off the upper playfeild if it gets under the upper flipper. Also the pop bumper beside the ramp entrance . This looks like it will be really different to play. Looking forward to playing it 
Im sure if you buy this game and you dont like the game play after owning it i'm sure a low use HUO will be able to be sold to someone else quickly to get your money back as there are so many people on the waiting list that wont get one. Used AMH go for over $1000 more then new now. Only people who have to worry is us Canadians with conversion and tax at the boarder and shipping its well over 9k Canadian.
That being said Ive paid my deposit and cant wait to have it next to my Metallica!!

Look, it's just playfield art. Spooky has my utter respect no matter what happens. If Charlie said "you know, you guys might be onto something, we want this to be the best we can, we're going to give it some thought" I'd be stoked. But it's his game, and his company, and he'll sell out no matter what, so I have no worries about him. And if I don't get it life will go on, there are lots of great pins out there I haven't owned.
I just have a funny personal connection to this one, and I can't help but want the best for it is all.
Have you had a chance to listen to the podcast? Sounds like there is alot more to the shots then meets the eye.
Looking forward to the gameplay video.
I keep watching the video and evreytime i pick up more on the playfeild. The way it turns blue infront of the center targets and has the shadows of what look like tombstones and the knife pictures on the center targets inserts. Also the electricty or blood around the groups of shot inserts and even the blood dripping down off the inlane/outlane "CHOP" inserts.
Dont let them get you down charlie and spooky pinball. Game looks awesome and cant wait to get mine.
The only thing i would change is...... wait nothing. You built the game you wanted and it sold out (once the 7 day decision time passes).
As for price come on people tons of toys and most of them actually do something:
Robot moves on a servo built into a pop bumper
Living dead girl behind a mirror like plastic that changes with RGB lights
Captain spaulding bobble head figure with built in gate
plus all the little extras skull pile, gas pump , bucket of chicken, radio etc.
Then throw in and awesome color display , flipper fidelity speakers and powder coated armor hand painted artwork by a known artist and possibly the best callouts ever done on a pinball machine. For 6k what more do you want in a pinball machine

No there isn't but the finished game in the videos is just a prototype as far as I can tell so they probably don't want pics under the playfeild

I have a valid question. I will be getting the upgrades either way but would be nice if i got the original set also as they were included in my original purchase price and the new $200 dollar ones seem to be completely different not the original ones modified.

The girlfriend(emily) and I just got back from picking up my RZ direct from spooky headquarters. I drove 9 hours with stops on Saturday and 14 hours today.
It was great hanging out with Charlie and Kayte for a couple hours today, checking out the shop and talking pinball. They are both great people; we had a blast.
But like everything in life it couldn't be perfect.
Just drove out of Wisconsin and a big piece of metal punctured and blew out my left rear tire.
Good thing I was a mechanic before so I knew what I was doing. Still not fun changing a tire on the left side of the highway, using a crank bottle jack. The 4runner has been oil sprayed many times so the spare was covered in dirty oil. Luckily it all went well.
Thank you again Charlie and Kayte for your hospitality cannot wait to set it up tommorow. Need sleep now.

Any word on this? every time people are over playing i have to let the people playing know when its a tilt warning as the speech for it just blends in with the rest of the game, maybe a sound effect that isnt used elsewhere and the speech?

If that was turned off, good luck getting to the wizard. It's really the only thing in the players favour in an otherwise totally brutal game. And it still takes a fair bit of skill to "utilise" it well ... it's not a given.

I love the chop ball save the way it is. It is needed in this game.
Also I find unlike williams where you can switch the unlit lane over and collect it when the ball is on the switch RZ seems more sensitive and the unlit lane must be there before the ball hits the switch making it harder to collect on a fast drain which is a good thing dosent make it too easy.

There are settings? Is this in the menu?
As your collecting chicken and gas in WHAT!! mode it will light the dancing things on the screen every time you complete both rollovers. Once they are all lit then you have to hit captain Spalding 3 times. He only move when you beat WHAT!! mode

The amh ones have a cut out on both sides for the side mounted leds dont want that on RZ.

Do you always mount you pingulp on the front? I've only ever seen it to the side.
Lifted up my playfield today to tighten up a couple posts that came loose from play, while I was lifting it I heard a piece of plastic fall inside the cab. In the back of the cab I found 3 things. First two are probably garbage, 1 is a black Philips head screw and the second is 2 pieces of black foam. The third item is what I heard fall in believe it's a piece of clear plastic and I can't find what it attaches too. Can anybody help?

I never wax mine just keep them clean when ball trails appear. In home use only don't see the need. My first run metallica premium has never been waxed still looks like new.

Not sure how shipping works but I just had a small box with a metal container of glue and 5 plastic applicators shipped to me by a fellow members in Lexington KY and it only cost him $11 to ship with usps

Jackpots of 250k become 2.5 million and games of 10 million become 100 million?
By this logic evey JJP game lack excitment. Why not multiply everything by 100, or 10,000

Some games just arnt designed for post pass. All depends where the slingshot are mounted.

I wanted to put a deposit on Alice cooper but decided against it as progress on rob zombie had stopped.
