very excited about this one. !

very good move on their part to hire a real artist to handle the illustrations. AMH was great but the artwork was high school level at best.

I seriously hope they still have someone art direct the typography/playfield together to feel cohesive. Even the zombie prototype they showed recently had the same amateur design aesthetic.

Since alex is most likely just going to do the illustrations, This leaves a big hole for things going wrong. Not trying to be harsh but there's no excuse for lousy design with so many amazing artist out there.. I really want them to Knock this out of the park.

I agree with Aurich 1000% I think spooky needs to hear this kind of critique not to bring them down but help bring them up.
Were all rooting for them to succeed. Since they are NOT like stern, and since they do read these comments.since they are one of us. we're all hoping they hear it and fix whats wrong with it.

Aurich and everyone else knows that Alex's art is amazing. Its so amazing that it makes it that much more depressing how unamazing the rest is and how close it came to being really great.. The rest of it is not cohesive. The plastics, inserts etc are ruining the art.

if there's time to fix it. and spooky can be open to suggestions like JJP was I really hope they listen and take the time to make it perfect.

I am out. Huge rz fan. Love everything about his world and style but the playfield and toys were a let down. I hope spooky well and hope they hire an art director asap to help tie in all the pieces on future games.
