I am sure you are getting tons of questions and emails so we all appreciate you taking the time to give us info.

Any chance you have an idea of how long we will have between seeing the artwork/layout before we will need to deposit the 1k?

Just trying to figure out a timeline for when I will need to have $$ ready as it will probably mean selling a game.

I am in the interested list according to the response email I got Monday morning. No idea where but I am just glad to have a foot in th door in case this turns out to be as awesome as I am hoping.

I have a feeling the interested list will be way higher than 300 however the amount that will actually deposit the 1k will probably be lower than 300 out of the gate. Not everyone is going to convince their family that a true horror pin is coming home to roost.

For me, sending a deposit hinges on 3 things.

Artwork
Design vs Ruleset
Being able to easily swap out songs

That last one seems petty but frankly I am not a fan of Robs solo stuff as too much of it sounds the same. White Zombie has the music that is nostalgic for me and that's what I want to hear when I am playing a Zombie game. Especially some of the remix stuff.

But really, this wait is killing me.... And it's only been 3 days.

Man I hope we start getting some pictures and descriptions of the game soon.
I have passed on two games I have really wanted this last week so I can have the cash ready for the deposit if I need it. Really hoping that we get something soon so I have a better idea of what I am holding out for.

I'd still like to know how much time we are going to have to decide if we are committed between the reveal and the due date for the deposit. If it's a month, awesome. If it's more like a week, I just hope that it will be easy to make a decision.

I guess all I can ask is for Spooky to please not wait until the last minute to reveal the whole thing.

As much as I love what Charlie and co. has done so far i personally can't put the cart before the horse. Even the best designers have off titles where they fail at translating awesome themes into games that look and play well.

All I am saying is that I would appreciate having as much time as possible to evaluate the game.

Why not? Why cant they reveal it 30 days before we have to commit the deposit? They already have a want to buy list of interested parties (myself included) that is almost at if not already over the 300 unit limit.
How does it hurt them to show more info early?
Seems to me that a lot of the recent pinball stress has been caused by secrecy. In this case there is plenty of interest and already a decent waiting list so who is being helped by keeping the details secret until the last minute?

This is exactly what I am hoping for. Did they announce it and I just missed it?

Again, a general game plan from Spooky would be helpful. You can't please everyone but more info is better than less.
