Quoted from epeabs:

Just got done with a topside tear down, deep clean, wax, Titans, etc. Also added some led strip lighting on the rails and in front of apron. Wow. What an improvement over stock.
Also, a shout out to Matt at M & M Creations (Sonic) for building a Magnetic Reed Switch to replace the upper playfield switch that gets wacked by the ball shooting the right inner orbit shot. The switch fits perfect and works awesome. [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Erik - Glad to be of service - and glad to help resolve a curious engineering (from my POV) faux pas from Spooky.....

Quoted from punkin:

Thanks for looking after us down under too, Matt!

Thanks mate.

No problem... BioBa is your M&M Creations distributor for AU & NZ....and forgive me for not having a clue that many RZ's are down under...I had no idea!

Quoted from epeabs:

Just received my second switch from M & M Creations today. Installed it in the other switch location on the upper playfield. Now both switches match. Both are now Magnetic Reed Switches and there's no chance that either will get smashed on the underside of the playfield from a ball going through the inner orbit shot.

Looks fantastic Erik! So happy this worked out - these MRS' never cease to amaze me...and thanks for the kind words and pics...

Thank you mate. We have a couple on the way to the land of vegemite, glad i can leave one for someone else.

Thanks for being patient Garry.. BioBa (Pinball Haus) should have them by the end of Oct for AU & NZ folks!

Quoted from mackey256:

Ordered a set of magnetic switches from sonic last month and finally got around to installing them in the upper play field last night. The whole process was rather easy once you got the play field off. I had more problems trying to get the upper flipper lined up again than installing the new hardware. Easy solder job and now they are working great. If you want a good alternative to those switches getting bashed around by the ball in the inner orbit shoot Matt a message and he can get you setup really quickly.

Love to hear it! I never get tired of hearing of solved problems!

We just finished a variation for R&M - apparently an issue with a rollover being in a lane a bit too wide to register with a high degree of accuracy - we are waiting for feedback from the tester on that one....but it looks similar.....

Too scared to have a go at the playfield removal to put mine in yet.

No!! C'mon....you spent the money, and the time waiting....just do it Garry!

Quoted from epeabs:

My Rob Zombie has been in the freeplay area at Pintastic for a full day so far and has had a crazy amount of traffic on it. The two MRS switches on the upper playfield as well as the zombie ramp switch I modified to fit from a Shadow switch have worked flawlessly and have never missed a switch hit. A shout out to Matt at M & M Creations for his products.

Thanks for the testimonial!! Here to help!
