Ok, I know pinballs don't heal themselves but.... I like to share.
About a month ago I got a game reset, a couple of weeks later I had a few random resets, this week my Roadshow was on permanent reset every game always on left flipper use.
Repair time, I head to the driver board where I find some reasonable previous repair work, it all checks out so I decide to take a punt on BR2 and C5. After installing a new cap in C5 I test again and get the same resets.
A little dissapointed I get the DMM out and try and find a bad reading on the bridge, I find nothing out of the ordinary, I then leave it for the night. Next day just want to check the test points etc across the boards all looks good, I try a game again and no resets no matter what I try.
Weird!!!!!! I think maybe heat has been causing issues so I play for an hour in a mega hot enviroment, still no resets??????
My best guess is I found a loose screw in the cab which may cause an issue somewhere or the removing of board connectors fixed itself, who knows....
Anyways its fixed and I'm playing again, anybody else had a self healing experience?
