Had vertical lines on the Display.
Changed ribbon cable and issue was resolved.
However as an unfortunately side effect - several of switches are now acting up (a couple stopped working altogther, and two others make repeated registrys without anything making contact with them)
Suggestions on root cause?

Check the switch matrix,if they in the same row or column may be a diode on one of the switches.
Maybe first reseat the switch connectors too you could of knocked them while working on the Dmd.
You may have to take one switch at a time out of the circuit and see if the problem goes away for the other switches.
