Quoted from pinballplusMN:In the past ive added a 1.5 amp slo blow fuse near the head assy on the power side that feeds the coils for the eyes. Just one fuse for the head power.Sometimes springs, links break inside the head and short on the little coils. The coil energizes and locks on but does not draw enough current to blow the 3 amp fuse on the driver board until more severe damage has been done such as burnt traces etc. Ive seen a few of these driver boards with holes burnt in them due to a failed coil in rudys or teds head. A small investment to save your driver board.
GREAT TIP!!!
Did you add the fuse this way?
