I have a nice Roadshow for sale $2400.

Playfield is very good condition with no wear, Inserts are fine, just needs cliffy at Fish kickout. Cabinet is decent shape, but has a few touch ups. Works perfect with no errors. Dmd is perfect. Really fun game!

$2400. Will work with your shipper.

I am located in Freehold Nj 07728.

Never understood why this game isn't worth more. I love mine and there's no way I would let it go for anywhere near this price! Good luck OP!

#3 9 years ago

I actually really like to pick this up, but I'm out of town for a while. I didn't have my RS long enough before I sent it away, miss it. GLWS

#4 9 years ago

Saw this on craigs yesterday, if I didn't buy a pin 2 months ago i'd be all over it. Not even sure why I was looking, maybe to torture myself.

#5 9 years ago

Excellent game! I can't believe I almost sold mine. I really have to pick up a shaker motor for her one day. GLWS

#6 9 years ago

Mine has the shaker motor, but I turn it off. It's pretty intense. I think Pat was trying to connect it more with earthshaker, but imo the shaker isn't really good for this game. Glws

I agree that this title should be going for more $. I think it's a really fun game with lots of shots and great interaction with Red and Ted. This RS was in my collection for years and I recently purchased a collector's condition RS. So I will always have RS in my collection, for me it's a keeper. Thanks guys.

Tough to get 1400 and thats reality.

#9 9 years ago

Great game. I paid about $2300 for mine and considered it a steal. Even with a pretty good nick on the bottom edge of the right side of the cabinet and a couple of scratches on the translate. Loads and loads of shots and things to do. I definitely think it's one of the best of that era.

#10 9 years ago

Wow. I would think RS would command $1400 not working and with Red's teeth knocked out and rattling in the bottom of the cabinet.

Maybe your reality. Are you in the twilight zone?

#13 9 years ago

I wish I were closer to check it out. That is a good price for an underrated title. GLWS!

I was thinking the same thing.

Great price for a great game! Roadshow looks amazing with color DMD in it too. So many modes and animations make it worth the $400. This such a great bang for your buck pin too. Williams widebody, two heads, shaker, double plunger, and great ramps.

Find me one in this shape for $1400 in the continental US, and I'll pay another $400 to have it shipped to me. Road Show isn't high on the list of games I want, and I might end up single if I add another pin in the house, but I'd chance it for a Road Show in good shape under $2k.

$2200-2800 seems to be the going rate; I'm surprised the OP didn't start with a slightly higher price.

#17 9 years ago

Bought mine 1 month ago. Love it . $ 3150 . It gets better every time I play it. I totally agree, this is a good price on this under rated pin. $ 1400 for a roadshow ? Sure . 5 years ago !!

#18 9 years ago

Almost forgot. GLWS : )

#19 9 years ago

I tried to price it reasonable, leaving some meat on the bone. Pretty firm on price, but at $2400 it will make it's new owner very happy. Thanks

#20 9 years ago

I think you're price is very good looks to be in great condition ive seen ones in not as good condition sell for 2750

I love the game and am in close NJ. Who can't love a game with two Rudy heads???
Wish I could pull the trigger on it but....

The Country theme just kills it for me. If only that could be changed but alas, it cannot.
Pin looks great as it is! Shaker Motor is a def +!

GLWTS, should go pretty fast bump!

#22 9 years ago

Thanks. It's funny that you mention the Country music. I felt that way when I first played it years ago. But with the way today's music is so cross genre, the theme song seems more Pop Rock to me now. And I'm a Zeppelin/ Hard Rock guitarist. It's not like they are playing banjos and washboards. Lol And her voice is sexy! She is actually the voice of Red (one of the heads).

The "theme" isn't country at all. It's a couple on a bulldozer driving across America. You stop at towns along the way to wreck things with the bulldozer and the tie-in to the towns is excellent. Spring Break in Miami and Mardi Gras in New Orleans for example. Very original and well done. The game play is linear also so it's a fun challenge to see how many cities you can get to each time. People keep calling the music "country" only because it's sung by Charlene Carter, Johnny Cash's daughter. It's her hit "Everything Little Thing." I agree with Dawasa, it's much more pop or perhaps progressive country than what most would associate as country music. It works brilliantly in the game. The tune is really only played for a few seconds when you hit jackpot, but it's definitely catchy and a blast when you hit it.

I'm assuming you meant to put $2400 since thats the asking price. $1400 is crazy talk.

#25 9 years ago

This RS around me would sell at this price in less than 2 weeks, $1400 is crazy talk for sure.

#26 9 years ago

And let's not forget, wide body, shaker motor, 2 plungers, 3 metal ramps, 2 talking heads that can swallow the ball and spit it back out, loops behind the heads with a diverter so the ball pops out every now and then where you're not expecting it, 4 flippers with shots out the wa-zoo, spinner, 3 pop bumpers, a 3 bank target and single targets around the playfield, 4 ball multi-ball and a 2 ball mode, and a rule set about 65 pages long. This is hand down the best bang for the buck wide body, and one of the best pins out there that can be had for under $3,000.

#27 9 years ago

I never knew Red swallowed. LOL!

#28 9 years ago

she spits, I can confirm.

She doesn't...purely a spitter as said above. I love this game. It's not leaving my house for a long time.

Not saying it's not true, but you went there!

#31 9 years ago

i would buy one. wish the seller was closer to michigan.

#32 9 years ago

Clay doesn't have one? You jest! He's got everything!!!

#33 9 years ago

don't have a roadshow. been looking for one, but none around at a reasonable price. i had a nice one, foolishly sold it years ago. there are several wpc games we are looking for at the ann arbor pinball museum. Roadshow, Whodunnit, Indy500, Dirty Harry. Maybe Black Rose if one came up. but that's about all we need to complete the wpc collection.

No, he doesn't.

But for those of you coming to the VFW-AAPM Showcase in May, don't worry. Clay and I have an arrangement so that Red and Ted will be present for folks to play.

Later,

Clay, a good friend of mine uses uship to ship pins for somewhat cheap and are reliable.

#36 9 years ago

I am OK with shipping if someone sets it up. The game is by my front door. One step down and your out.

You're outta you're mind bro! Don't know what warped disco pinball dimension you live in! Lawlor pins will always be worth way more than $1400

#38 9 years ago

Jeez this is cheaper than I just paid for mine (and in better shape) and I thought mine was a steal. Such a great game, somebody's going to be very happy.

#39 9 years ago
Quoted from funrudy:

She does and then she says "that's disgusting!" I'm not making that up.

#40 9 years ago

Buy it Clay, I'll bring it to you next month at the Ohio pinball show.

I've gotten quotes from UShip. Definitely much cheaper than NAVL and you've got a review history on the actual person who is moving the game to see how he's done in the past.

What a deal Clay. Go for it. You'll love it!

You are because she doesn't swallow. She spits it out. Ted swallows.

Well technically Ted vomits it up, so is that then spitting?

#45 9 years ago
Quoted from Jopper:

Nope...it never comes back out of Ted's mouth. It disappears and get ejected out of Bob's bunker.

#46 9 years ago

So, now Bob is involved? "Oh my!" (insert George Takei soundbyte here!)

This pin has to sell now bump!!!

#47 9 years ago
