Here in New York we have a good vaccination rate, and a state provided method of verifying vaccination or test results for group events. Things are progressing very rapidly. A lot of our restrictions are being lifted in a couple weeks and we are looking to begin planning events.

This is for planning purposes. We aren’t holding events just yet.

IFPA is waiting for a high enough percentage of regions (worldwide) to be safe. NY progressing well doesn't mean much on the global scale of things

You’d likely be able to get more info on Tilt forums as that’s more geared towards tournament talk.

Josh was recently on a podcast and he said it’s still not there. Guesses I’ve heard are August through December 2021, if that.

Pinball shows are starting back up and lots of tournaments are going on. I don’t think IFPA needs to rush to open back up because there is a huge range of how things are going in various countries. Australia is open, US is improving, Canada recently started a 3-week lockdown IIRC, and Europe is struggling in some countries again.
