Quoted from Multiball1:

The trip is half of the fun. Glad it was a safe one and that you had a good time. A good guy and an asset to Pinside. Enjoy your newest toy!

Thanks

Quoted from NimblePin:

Congrats on the WH20 Cosmo!

Also thanks

Quoted from MiamiRedSkin:

is this the $4K one listed in the marketplace? If so, that's a STEAL

Quoted from DaveH:

There ya go! What kind of shape is she in? How does it play? Deets! Deets!

Its just like I like...dirty, dark and broken rubbers but the seller accepted a fair offer and its hard to find a sub 4k WH20 that will play a full game and doesnt look roached...playfield looks like it will clean up nicely...the rest I will find out tomorrow when I strip it down. Its getting anywhere from a basic shop to ground up over the top resto that I will put 100 hours into and be lucky to break even...

Only 3 hours 45 minutes more to drive...

#53 6 years ago

Nice score. Getting too into pins, when I'm identifying pins by cabinet art. Wouldn't have thought this a year ago. Need to go back to collecting barbwire or the like. Safe travels

Welcome to the club Def worth the drive.

900 miles, Im a little slow getting out of bed this morning.
Game is unloaded and I played a few more games, it plays sluggush, needs rubber and bulbs but most of all it is really dirty... the mine scoop looks great, there is only one small area of playfield wear about the size of an pea in front of the scoop...I may find more playfield wear when I tear it down but right now it looks very promising... has broken sling plastic and a few mountains have small cracks but the ramps all look great...topper is there but not the plastic tub...DMD seems fine...could use a cab restore but its not the worst Ive seen...I think I can make this into a real beauty...

Great thread. My first pin was a WH20 that I drove from New Hampshire to Philly to pick up. Did it round trip in a day. Epic journey similar to this. Was totally worth it. Still my favorite pin!

Will do...got to spend a few hours this evening tearing it down...some real toasty GI connectors at the board and a lot of dirt. Tomorrow I should have the playfield fully stripped and begin ordering parts...I will post pics when completed.

I don't know... I think the blue actually looks pretty good.

Well lots of poeple put blue and that's their choice it's water and the whole thing is blue...not the hill I'm gonna die on today . The battle I will pick is the stupid green behind the ramps! Oh OK I get it that';s the lock area so GI should be green there?...

Cosmo Kramer is going to send you to the soup Nazi for that comment. May he be kinder than you !!

#85 6 years ago

Very bad man

#86 6 years ago

Lol, I dont like the green either...I thought it would look cool to backlight the transparent green targets but its too much...

#87 6 years ago

WH20 has some really cool dimming affects in the GI. These happen through out the game and after ball during bonus award. I think this is lost when you do LED's in the GI. I am still a purist with incandescents in the GI and LED's in the inserts for this game. You may want to check it out.
