HA. You drove through Champaign, IL, and Effingham, IL. Used to live in Champaign, and visited SUI down in Carbondale. So I know that stretch very well.

Godzilla was my next guess. It's a tourney fave. low production run.

    #54 3 years ago

Godzilla was late 90s, he said early 90s. Has to be golden cue doesn't it? Everything else has more then 1000 games produced I think. Don't know harley Davidson production nunbers.

    Nice!

If you don't mind sharing, what is the current range on a decent godzilla?

    #57 3 years ago

Saw the Grateful Dead at the Pyramid April 1st, 1995. Such a cool city. Grab a beer on Beale St. if ya can...

DOnt know what the final price was, but being that i was second in line on one in Memphis the other day, Id guess its the same one. Was listed at 2k. But had some issues

    #59 3 years ago

Yeah $2k final price. Still has issues but cosmetics nice. Most importantly to me ramp and actual godzilla parts are nice. Kind of one of those that just seem to sell because of theme and fact that they don't pop up often. Was really clean underneat which surprised me as cabinet has typical wear stuff. Did some negotiating on stuff being thrown in with it. Think I basically did fair market pricing on it. Originally didn't have display or display driver board and needed trough opto boards. Kept prove the same and got all those thrown it with it from another sega game he had. Guy came across as a clear flipper with 16 games and none fully working but he was also nice and reasonable. Either way I'm happy I found a game I enjoy and doesn't come around often. Now that drive back....

    Congrats Tommy,

Be careful on your way home....Hope you're enjoying the game soon.

Godzilla is one of those rae pins I'd love to add to my collection.

Be safe Tommy! My Seawitch will be here from Atown this weekend!

    #62 3 years ago

You definitely made the right choice in passing along the seawitch for this. Great game! Safe travels.

    #63 3 years ago

Thanks for pricing info. Safe travels tommy

If you need a break on the way home, you drive right near me. Im guessing you will be in my area around midnight, so if you want a late game of silverball, hit me up

    Troy

ps, even though i want it, i will not steal godzilla out of your car if you stop by

    #65 3 years ago

Im outside STL if you need a break from driving...

Awesome to see fellow pinsiders offering up their homes for Tsskinne to crash!

    Great hobby.

    #67 3 years ago

good thing you're still a ways away from Indy....we just got slammed w/ a bunch of hail.

    #68 3 years ago

Godzilla is a pretty good game. Great pickup!

    #69 3 years ago

Thank you everyone. I stopped off at fumbleflippers on way back as he offered for me to drop in. We played for about 2 hours and I'm hitting the road back now. So cool to see all the hospitality offered up by pinsiders. Excited to get this home and hopefully playing soon.

Stopped on road to sleep last night back hurting road now. 3.5 hours to go. If anyone is bored and wants to look up part numbers for me for the DMD mounting bracket that would be super helpful

    #71 3 years ago

    Godzilla is coming!

    Enjoy it Tommy.

When I made my trip to OKC for a machine, my back hurt as well. It's important to get out and move around. Also I like a soft seat compared to a lot of modern vehicle seats that are pretty stiff.
