It's okay...Ted just had a stroke from all the years of drinking and partying he was doing.
Quoted from Piso:Great work, first road show repro ramps I've seen! Is it the picture or is the plastic a bit thinner than the original ramps?
Good eye...I'm running some slightly thinner plastic right now because that's what I can get and have for other parts, but production ramps will be 1/8" material, as original.
Actually, I'm wrong. These were made from .100" material...which is what I was running...I'm guessing it's a bit of an optical illusion. I may still try to get .125" material if possible though. You can measure all over the ramp and see places it will stretch down to .040" in places...it all depends on how and where the plastic stretches to the mold.

Upside down, but the horizontal surface where the ball rolls isn't thinning out like you would think...the vertical sides of the ramp is where most of the stretch happens.
I posted this in my ramp thread, but I thought I would share it here also. I made a decent set of ramps off my mold tooling this weekend to get my own machine back together. I have one issue to work out with a wavy corner at the one exit, and will be making a half dozen sets or so soon. Stickers are only available from Australia right now since they are licensed.

There is one on eBay for $99 right now. Not sure what the going rate on these are.
Quoted from ClarkKent:Does anybody have an idea how to mechanically dimm LEDs with some kind of foil or similar? I‘m using red and blue leds for the map border but they are so extremely bright that it’s really disturbing - but I like the blue and red border...
Leave the machine on for several hours, the brightness will die down a bit. LED's tend to cool off a bit over time compared to when they are brand new.
I do not do anything with decals, especially on heavily protected B/W IP. It's a huge money sink on my end, and I can't afford that at this point. The old decals should be easily reusable though using the freeze spray method. They made them very durable back then.
Quoted from cottonm4:Hi. I come to the Road Show thread looking for a favor. I do not own a Road Show. I need pair of eyes that are trashed and not usable---for project I want to try.
If anybody has a couple of eyes laying around and would be willing to part with them, please send me a PM.
Thank you.
That hand paint job is pretty cringe. That looks like an easy job to make a paint mask using a vinyl cutter and some Oramask and then spraying the appropriate color for the eye detail (preferably with an airbrush). I do not have the time to make these, but could help someone else out with a DXF file of the geometry if need be.
