Quoted from Don44:

I bought a Road Show last weekend and have been busy tearing it down, fixing the heads and gears and cleaning it up. Its going to be really nice when I am done. The playfield is very nice. Anyway, after tearing down the playfield, I do not have a connector under the playfield that goes to the spotlite connector that goes on Teds face. Can somebody check and see what color wires are associated with the spotlite under the playfield. There is a set of 2 wires down there but they are just loose without a connector.

That connector is on the falling rocks wireform.

Post a pic of your cpu below the battery holder

Quoted from per3per3:

Happy to do that tomorrow morning, but the batteries are off the board if battery acid dmaange is what you'd be looking for

Just because the batteries aren't currently there doesn't mean previous batteries never leaked.

Going from memory - theres an eddy board on both sides of the dozer. The inside one is likely your issue, sounds like the game thinks there is a ball inside the dozer. Lift playfield and adjust the eddy sensor. If the led is on, the switch is closed. Back the pot off until the led goes out, and test with a ball above the playfield.

Quoted from DakotaMike:

Another quick question for the club:
When Ted talks on my game, his faceplate moves up and down a little bit. I thought this was normal behavior, but after watching some videos, I don't think this is supposed to happen. The movement of the faceplate doesn't actually bother me, as it kinda makes him more lifelike, but is it bad if the faceplate moves?
Has anyone heard of this happening before? I don't want the movement to cause any damage. It just moves a little bit, but as I've never taken the heads apart, I don't know what the internals look like. So I have no idea how, or what, would be causing the faceplate to move during Ted's speech.
Any ideas? Thanks!

The face mounting screws are loose.

Eddy sensor board, there are no optos infront/behind the dozer blade. The eddy in front senses when a ball hits the dozer (to progress towards ball lock), the eddy behind senses if the dozer went down and trapped a ball behind it (but not in ted's mouth).
