Not a problem to replace, I just checked mine, yes L-6, Adjustments 2. Feature adjustments, number 25. the only thing you could screw up is bending the pins and starting over, can't hurt the machine and the wife will be happy.
There is a difference, the reason I changed/updated mine and one for a friend, they wouldn't make this an option if it was the same...or just disconnect it...

I have this mod on my RS, it is fantastic....interactive which makes it very interesting to see in person...
