Quoted from str8cash:

I joined the club yesterday. HUO since 97. Arizona pin. Has American dime coin box. New original blue legs. No issues. Can't wait to tear it down, clean it, led and mod it up!!! Will post pics as I progress. Followed this thread and a few more on led tips. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It's Friday!!

Congrats! and welcome to the club! The game is easy to shop and LED.
Ive enjoyed Matts -Titan Rubbers on mine, and LEDs are just as much fun!
Color the map outline any color you wish, beef up the scoop with a 12v or 6.3V Matrix Pad.
A couple Op-Max in the back, and the Ramps glow like Neon!

They go into the couple of sockets in the back....not sure if the pics do it justice.

I did my map outline in green.

Help! Red's eyes are at half mast and won't open....

Oh No! Thats Evil, Possessed Red! Often happens when placed next to a BSD, or other pin.

Exorcism is the only answer! Watch out for her speaking in tongues!

Quoted from TaradinoC:

Are there different intensities of LED flash lamp I should try?

Absolutely!

12V Mini Cob, or SMD.....1/2 as bright as an incandescent
5 SMD tower, closest to an Incandescent
8 SMD Flat 50% or more brighter, control with flex head.
9 SMD Tower Twice as bright out the sides.
9 SMD 5630, Aluminum...my favorite as its equally bright on top....
hard to use sometimes close to the eyes, so I drop to a 5 SMD.

Flex heads in the Atlanta Mine, I think I used....

Matrix, doubles or triples, extends, or allows extra sockets, strips, pads, if one wants More! or simply to make a scoop flash.

Ill add that to my list!

Am I seeing this right?

It seems there are more Roadshows for sale now over 3K, then under....?

Quoted from YeOldPinPlayer:

The one for $2750 hasn't sold, it doesn't seem likely the $3500+ ones will sell.

I couldnt find this, can you share?

I have a friend looking...............

Quoted from chrisnack:

I paid $3400 for mine, but it's extremely clean.. PF is near perfect and the cabinet only had a few tiny marks...

I think you did well! An amazing game, for so little!

#979 6 years ago

Thanks! Ill pass it on!

It doesnt show because of a search, and there is a hyphen between "road-show"

On this, I agree....It just seems, and it could be me, some new found interest in Road show.

Ive had more people ask if mine was for sale, then in the past....

Nonetheless, it is just too much fun, I never get tired of playing it!!

Quoted from Mrawesome44:

It's hard to sell Roadshow because the only person who will buy a roadshow is someone who wants a roadshow. Plus no one wants to buy one with the heads busted. A bunch of sellers are trying to sell RS as is and thats not flying much anymore. I plan to get one after i get either a tz or indy

I guess thats one thought.

LSOG sold one in 2 days listed at $3600.

I do Agree no one wants to work on the heads, or get fish wear.

Im not sure if its hard to sell, and perhaps it is why its been low in price...they have been low because of demand.

It just seems with a full featured game in a Premium Costing around $6k, Ive seen some recent games, like JD that were always around $2300-$2700, have taken a recent bump.

Doesnt mean one cant find some selling/sold around $2500...of course this happens.

Just part of a recent discussion...

One can mod their Radio with Comet Strips or other.

Lots of different paint jobs...maybe scan the pic gsllery.

Im re-redoing my Roadshow again, that was lent out, and came back with some issues.
First one is I have no flashers.

Can someone share if the connection is Only at J107, or should it be plugged into J106?
Any reason not to try?
Would F111 by the Flasher fuse?

Thanks!

Quoted from RobDutch:

Right ramp divertor error popped up..
It seems to work perfectly, what am I missing?
[quoted image]

Look in the back of the game, behind the back lip.
The coil and diverter have a switch. Check to see if the switch is OK, as well as the coil and spring.

My error happened and worked fine, but the pin in the linkage was broken, so sometimes it did fail.
My choice was to take it all apart, or McGyver it.
I bent a paperclip, and threaded it through the linkage.

Fixed error, and performance went from 80% t0 100%, and the error dissappeared.

#2680 2 years ago
Quoted from TheOnlyest:

You have to follow my instructions for the error to clear, the fact that your switches are working is great, but irrelevant to the cause of the error.
My game throws this error frequently as well, because I am a MUCH better tech and restorer than player.
The instructions I tried to clearly explain (short of making a video), clears the error 100% of the time... testing the switches and diverter in test mode, will not clear the error.
If you dont care about your stored high scores and dont mind redoing all your game setting, a RAM clear will clear the error too!

Follow his fix, Rob.... everything looks fine mechanically.
