What Mocean said. If your dozer test does not register properly the board you should look at is called the Blade Interrupter Board I think. It is right underneath Ted' s head. It has a set of two optos. One registers the blade as down and the other registers the blade as up. First just try cleaning those optos. If that doesn't work you could try reflowing some solder on the joints or replace the optos. That skinny board hangs off the bottom of the playfield and given Roadshow's powerful shaker I'd imagine it gets beat up a lot so cracked solder seems likely.

It’s been probably 10 years but I had this happen before. Works in test not in game. I think it’s called the blade interruptor opto board in the manual. It’s right below Ted’s head. Try cleaning the optos or reflowing solder on that board. I think I wound up just replacing it.
